I couldn’t have built this 10 years ago.
For more than 20 years, I planned my fair share of corporate events from not-for-profits to Fortune 100 companies. I understood what those moments were supposed to do: create a genuine connection between a brand and the people it was trying to reach. I managed the budgets, the timelines, and the pressure to deliver an experience that justified the spend.
Then I spent 12 years on the supplier side in branded merchandise. I understood, from the inside, everything that side of the industry was capable of delivering. Branded merchandise reaches people. It travels home. It carries the brand past the event floor and into people’s daily lives. That is real value, and I saw it up close.
What I also saw was the opportunity nobody had yet designed around it.
Brands were investing real money in event activations. Attendees were walking through, engaging, picking up branded merchandise. But the moment of genuine connection, the one that justified the entire investment, was being left to chance. The merchandise was the output. Nobody had designed the experience that should surround it.
The reframe that changed everything.
The merchandise was always the proof that the moment happened. VoxMerch™ is how you design the moment worth proving.
I sat with that opportunity deliberately. Not as a criticism of the industry I came from, but as a design challenge built on top of it. What would it look like to build an activation where the experience of creating the branded takeaway was itself the brand moment?
The answer was voice. Specifically: what happens in the 40 seconds between someone speaking and seeing what their voice becomes.
What I now give event planners and merch distributors.
A system that makes intentional, personal, measurable moments reproducible. Not dependent on a great booth staffer having a good day. Not left to chance. Designed in, from the first word spoken to the branded item they carry home, with first-party data captured throughout.
When a client leaves your event with real names, real emails, and thematic insights into what their audience cares about most, in addition to the branded merchandise they already value, they have something they can act on. That is the data that earns the next event.
VoxMerch™ is the product of 30 years spent on both sides of the same industry. Built on top of what branded merchandise already does well. Designed to add the layer it has never had.
